Fleur, a fabulous, cozy, fresh and earthy flower boutique in Logan Square that I will be visiting often for inspiration and fresh flowers. If you're in the Chicago area I highly recommend visiting to check out all the blooms and to see a selection of my jewelry in person.

New Earrings...

I made a new pair of dangle/hoop earrings yesterday, Botanical Earrings # 4 that are now available here. I took a crappy photo to show everyone how they hang and it will have to do until I can have someone model them for me and get a better picture (hopefully soon).

A productive day in my new studio...

Yay to my new studio space!!! I love it! I can't believe how much room I have and it makes me want to get to work! Here a few photos of my set up. I still need to do some organizing and get a small lounge chair to go with the sixties coffee table for a break area.

Some new work and ideas. I've had some found objects that I use in my one of a kind fiber pieces that I've been wanting to incorporate into my production work...here it goes.

I'll be adding this line to my etsy shop soon and I'm working on some little post earrings as I write this.

I also have some new boutiques and a flower shop in the Chicago area that will be carrying my work in the next month and a few exciting prospects for shows in the area. I'll keep everyone posted :)

New Rings

I can't believe it's almost the weekend already; this week flew by! I've been working on some new designs and building up inventory in anticipation of some possible summer trunk shows and art fairs (I'll keep everyone posted). I'm also working on inventory and new pieces to send to some of my consignment shops and adding pieces to my etsy shop.

The perfect day off...

I decided to take the day off from working (well mostly) and take a bike ride to the park and around the new neighborhood with my favorite boy. The weather was beautiful and sunny and the last stop of the adventure was this cute italian ice shop (it's actually just a window that you walk up to). It was deeelicious!

All moved and settling in...

I have successfully moved all of my stuff (and I've come to the conclusion that I have A LOT of stuff) in to my new apartment. I'm still in the process of setting up and organizing my new studio space but have been working in the space and I love it! My new neighborhood is lovely! I picked up a beautiful hydrangea bloom on a walk with Addie (my sweet dog) this morning.


I will be designing some new rings, pendants and earrings for my etsy shop this coming week and will have them photographed and posted very soon (I'll share some of my sketches next week).
