I got a new lens for my camera a few days ago...the Canon 50mm f 1.8 II. I've been pretty excited about it (it's been on my wishlist since last chirstmas) and really wanted to practice using it. So yesterday was the day...I took a few self portraits and my dear friend Mayghan volunteered to be my lovely model for a bit. We sat out on the boulevard in the late afternoon sun with a few new pieces of jewelry and had some fun!
